Code A S E ... again!

Through the second lecture of PSY110, I realized that Pei Li likes to use body language while she is teaching! I wonder what "secret" you wanted to tell us that moment! Oh~ Revision... I see! Yes, doing revision is important! Reduce many hardwork we need to do during exam period! However, I always fail to do this due to procrastination. Well, I will still try my best to overcome this bad habit.

About the activity sheet, I really filled it up honestly. However, I found that I don't know what to fill in in certain columns. Maybe, I still don't understand myself a lot. Or maybe, I have too many goals, too many interest, too many dreams untill I don't know what to fill in.

In ACTIVITY:ASSESSING MY INTEREST, I got most ticks in the fourth column. For EXPLORE THE JOB MARKET, I prefer going to WORKSHOP A, followed by WORKSHOP S. Hence, I got my result as 4A, followed by 4S. It was quite accurate. People who went in the same group with me has similar characters and interest. Therefore, it was not difficult to find our similar points and we worked out quite fast! The whole lecture was quite lively as we walked around and talked a lot. However, it was a little bit too messy as we moved slowly.

It was not surprising that my code was A followed by E. Last time, I remembered an aunt of mine, who studied Psychology too, gave me a test. She says that it was an interest test, and may help me to choose some job that suites me. I don't know what it was actually but I did it and I got the code A S E. As a PSY110 student, we are required to sit for a personality test called Vienna Test. I have got my report few days ago and got a session with a counsellor and she discuss the overall result with me. Well, before the session starts, I tell the counsellor that I predict my code is A S E. Bingo! And I got the right guess! No interest change in me so far.

The Vienna test is quite accurate. Tells me a lot about my strenghts and weaknesses, test on my IQ, and interest. Besides, the counsellor helps me a lot in clarifying me career path. At the end of the session, the counsellor asked me how am I going to make use of this Vienna test report. Haha~ I don't know how to answer her question at that moment. But now, I am going to tell you that I will maintain my strengths and be aware of my weaknesses.

In my opinion, we should have start planning our future now. So, we won't be messed up when we it is time to find our job. Therefore, what we are learning now should be related to our job and we should consider whether we had enrolled for the right course. It will be a waste of money and time if we find ourselves not suitable for the course/subject soon when we are going to graduate. Hence, taking PSY110 in the first two sem is essential. This shouldn't be Psychology students' core subject only, but all the other courses students too!

However, I will observe myself throughout the sem to make my career path clearer. Hope that I will find a job that I loved and there will be no work for me in the future! HOORAY~~~~
