My Ideal University

We were given a test to understand our personality and behavioural style in this lecture. My behavioural style falls on the Perfect OWL quadrant. It was quite accurate because I prefer to work in a slower pace, planning everything precisely to assure things go on smoothly and successfully. I will use some time in planning my things-to-do and daily schedule almost every day. Besides, I have a notebook that’s notes down my planning too!

Sometimes, I will faces difficulty in making decisions as I consider too much pro and cons of each decision. You might say that I am cautious in making decisions, but this really makes me feel helpless sometimes! Worrying too much is not healthy as well. Relate it to my Vienna Test, I got 9 in guilt.

Sometimes, people are frustrated with my intention to have perfection. I want many things to be as good as they can be, and people always think that there is no need to be so persistent. Thus, sometimes I will tolerate but sometimes I will stand still on my side. However, I am not someone who never listen to people but I will listen to opinions that are acceptable and persuasive enough to me.

I am not a sensitive person as well. One of the best prove is I got 38 for Investigation in the Vienna Test. I loved to ask question and I believed that I am a curious person. I prefer asking to get answer to investigate the answer. Therefore, I think I need to do more thinking as I am a Psychology student! After starting my course at HELP in the Psychology department, I discover more and more of my weaknesses. Although it was quite sad to know that I have so many weaknesses, however it was better than I never discover them.

I’ve created our ideal university with a gang of Perfect OWLs. It was quite happy that I can dream for a while to have my ideal university. Everything is nearly perfect in my ideal university as we can find convenience, entertainment inside! It was happy to do such discussion with a gang of people that have nearly same opinions! However, I was attracted to the Cloud Top Campus as they are really imaginative! I admire them actually. I never thought that we can do it this way as I thought we need to be practical while doing this activity. We Perfect OWLs, are too realistic. Our first intention is to have a campus plan that is clear and clean so that everybody will be able to see and understand it. Before drawing the campus plan, we even list out the things/facilities we wanted to include in our campus and this really proved that we are well-organized.

However, during the discussion, some of them never participate. This makes me a little frustrated as I always liked to work in a group. As we are in the same group, everybody should try their best to contribute but not just standing beside like an outsider. At the end, we didn’t assign anyone to present our ideal university as it was lack of time. I stepped out to present it because our campus plan was just beside me. However, it is my pleasure to share with the class!
